Uploading has always been a problem with the current site and this is another reason I went for a complete rewrite. The new site will have a much better upload mechanism to make it easier to upload stuff to the site.

Another new feature that I will elaborate on is the Terrain Database Parser. This will be a smaller version of the Unit Database Parser as the terr.ini file contains a lot less information. But none the less it will be handy for a player to familiarize himself with the terrain and the effect it has on movement and combat.

I had a bit of bad luck with my computer, more specific my power supply unit. After a day in the shop I can finally get back to working on the site.

Good news for the players of EDEE, players who like to play Rich's SoloMod or the newer SoloQ and SoloQM has told me he is working on an update for his mod so the AI will not use or minimize the use of IN units in play.

Rich just keeps finding free time as he might be creating a new mod that would include a couple of more units but still be playable as a solo player. I’ll keep ...

Scenario: 200 x 200 - No Wrap Unit Database: Speed 1.70 Terrain Database: Enhanced Terrain - Victory Conditions: *** Win by annihilation of all opponents *** Lose if all units are destroyed *** Win if player controls 80% of all cities for 5 turns *** Lose with Capital Loss *** Lose with loss of city-type taking capability - Scenario Description: 3 Corners - 4 players 801 cities 200 x 200 No wrap - players start in corners and head for the center. 7 cities to start - 6 at 200 production and 1 at 250 production. There are many roads/bridges over deep water. (890 road squares) Roads over deep water that are destroyed cannot be rebuilt. Some roads/bridges are not completed. There are several clusters of 4 cities where the production has been advanced to around 150-165. There are neutral fortresses that can be captured. Some contain a LR missile. A few LR missiles, SR missiles and Scout Sats are in neutral cities and can be captured. The scenario was built for use with SpeedMod 1.70 - see Speed Mod Manual for complete description of all unit changes and additions. Speed Mod was designed to increase production and movement speed for larger maps such as this one. Plus many unit revisions allow for the advantage/disadvantage of terrain in battle odds calculations. - Option Details: *** Only Opponent city-type Unit Names Revealed *** Buy points not allowed. *** Spiral city selection. *** Continued production rule allowed *** Special types production rule allowed *** Production efficiencies allowed *** Resource drain rules allowed *** Supply unit rules allowed *** Unlimited Resources. *** Road rules allowed *** Mine rules allowed *** Nuke attacks create wasteland is allowed *** No weather. *** Crippled movement is on *** Unit readiness rules allowed *** Unit experience rules allowed *** Unit dig-in rules allowed *** Unit defensive fire rules allowed *** Crippled combat effects are on *** Unit repair rules allowed *** Gifting is allowed *** Sight treaties are allowed *** Stack treaties are allowed *** Supply treaties are allowed *** Reveal treaties are allowed *** Explore treaties are allowed *** Teams are allowed *** Breaking treaties is allowed
